Book Review: "Escape 9-5 & Live Anywhere" (Because You're Jobless & Homeless)

I am a sucker for NYT non-fiction bestsellers. I figure, if everyone else is reading it, I should read it -- at least for cultural edification.
And so I joined the millions of other suckers who've read (or tried to read) this book. I suck, and this book sucks.
His basic principle -- outsourcing -- is great in principle, but not in practice. I am a lawyer. How do I outsource brief-writing? Client correspondence? Associate development? And if I do outsource those things to people, to whom do they outsource things? How sustainable is this? The only way I could make his theory really work is to change jobs.
The writing is simply horrible. The book reads like a long, badly written Powerpoint. I.e., too many bullet points, too many headings, too many quotes, and too much text. (and I like Powerpoints!)
Stay away.
