Book Review: A Truly POWERFUL book
Summary: 5 Stars
This book is split into sevberal sections such as observation of the law, interpretation, keys to power and reversal. It start off with a real life story and then goes on to illustrate its uses and application to real life. The author also acgknowledges that the laws are not foolproof by including the " Reversal" section.
Politics and power are present in all aspects no matter what industries you are in and this book actually puts everything in perspective in a very systematic way. I would recommend this book to anyone working in any industries.
A small flaw of this book may be the fact that some laws like "never put too much trust in friends" and "never reveal your intentions" may portray a "too real" image of this world which may put off some extreme optimist.

The basic principles of 48 laws of power are explained in the beginning which then the author gets more into depth explaining each law with historical examples. Most of the laws are applicable in daily life.Book Review: A different way to look at the world and your life.

This book is really well written. The examples and stories in it are excellent and entertaining in themselves. Your life is probably not as grand as the situations that are explained in the book, and of past lives in history, BUT its probably because you not living up to your full potential every second of your life. Its also hard to change the way you live, and come into situations where you can use this knowlege.
Its actually helped me set better auctions on ebay.
I understand, and have a WAY different view of how the world works now, that I can use from time to time as a guide.
If you can think big enough, and match your actions to the rules, your probably going to be alot more "sucessful" than you have been in the past. But like I said its hard to make change.

I really liked this book. I think it is a great book. I read it several years ago when it first came out and had lend it to a friend and it never came back. I recently bought another copy of this timely treasure for another reread.
