Book Review: a lovely little introduction
Summary: 3 Stars
This is a great little introduction for anyone who's interested in how sound can heal, written by a pro who has brought over twenty-five years of experience, research, and teaching together. He shares wisdom from ancient sacred texts, practical exercises and transformational testimonies. The music CD that accompanies this book is lovely and soothing. The seven secrets are:
1. Everything is vibration.
2. Intent is powerful.
3. We are unique vibratory beings.
4. Silence is golden.
5. Our voice is the most healing instrument.
6. There are many notes in a scale.
7. Sound can change the world.
I did find the book a little basic for my own personal taste - that may be because my interest in sound healing, chakra balancing, and vibrations have already led me to much information and many books and experimentation with Tibetan bowls, tingshaws, tuning forks, and CDs over the last 15 years and more. That's why only three stars.
