Book Reviews of The 80/10/10 Diet

Book Review: Excellent Choice for Raw Foodist and those searching for health
Summary: 5 Stars

I found this book to be excellent in it's presentation and information. Many Raw Foodists I find to still be overweight or have health issues. This book gives a logical and insightful reason as to why. Although the premise seems simple and should be easy, it may be challenging for the majority to follow it 100% immediately. My suggestion, wean over to it as you can, but once you follow it for just a few days you will notice a difference in how you feel - especially if you go back to eating what you did before, even if you ate fairly healthy! My suggestion, buy it and make a difference in your health and that of your family today!

Book Review: Excellent book, highly recommend
Summary: 5 Stars

I stumbled upon this book after reading a blog by a woman who has lupus, as I do too. She was writing how she has been symptom free for over a year and credited this book with having accomplished that. While I briefly read into the 80/10/10, I thought the concept was a bit crazy. I used to go to the gym 5 days a week and was on the high protein diet to gain muscle.
The thing I like most about this book, is that it explains everything to you and in a way that makes sense. It's not just a boring "diet" book promising you a flatter tummy in three weeks or some other absurd claim. It is such a simple concept, eating fresh fruit and vegetables and eliminating processed foods, meats and such. I'm slowly working my way into this and I'm shocked at how much better I feel already. Of course when people hear what it is all about, they think it's crazy, until they read it. I cannot recommend this book enough to people. I'm glad I found it when I did and am hoping to lessen the severity of my lupus symptoms if not get rid of them all together.

Book Review: Excellent!
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a life-changing book that is backed up by loads of science. A must read if you're looking for optimum health and fitness.

Book Review: Expensive lifestyle, Ironman race fuel would be tough too!
Summary: 4 Stars

I have been researching raw foodism for several months. I watched the Rawkathon and listened to several raw foodists and got even more confused since there were some big differences between each individual's diet. This book really cleared things up for me. I understand it better than ever, and other than adding additional greens or green drinks, I think this really makes the grade. Unfortunately, after going to the grocery store, I realized it was going to cost me over $1000.00 a month to eat this way. I still have three other people in my household to feed. I can't imagine having a $4000.00 grocery bill every month. I would have to live in a tent. Also, I would not have a clue as to what to take on my 4 hour bike rides, or an Ironman. I can't carry 3lbs of bananas with me on a race like that.

Book Review: Extremely valuable work
Summary: 5 Stars

You won't regret buying this book, if only as a reference work.
Dr Graham pulls no punches in telling us why the S.A.D. (Standard American Diet) is so unhealthy and provides us with a means to vastly improve our health and energy.
Some may be completely turned off by raw and veganism but once you have read this work you may seriously reconsider.
Menus are provided for those of you that want to jump in at the deep end. The logic of Dr Graham's research shines through to give anyone who reads it extremely valuable information on why we should completely revamp our diet. Well researched. Well put together. Well - why don't you buy it?
A must in anyone's book collection.
