Book Review: Insight and Inspriation
Summary: 5 Stars

This book is so amazing, I started with folding the corner of pages with awesome facts about food and nutrition and the effects it has on your body that I wanted to remember and come back to, to study...but in the end, there were SO many pages, that I ended up buying a highlighter...now flicking through the book, its hard to find any text which ISN'T highlighted.
It's so so so interesting, covers all areas of all food groups and just what is in them and how that effects you long/short term, just everything. So fascinating, and totally inspires you to be the healthiest person you can be. I'm on a website which is all about Raw food, and this is the number 1 favourite book of the thousands of members on the website, they all LIVE by it, and are the healthiest looking people I've ever seen, worldwide. Also they have the most energy, and are the happiest people ever - and they all follow what this book says.
Definitely worth every penny - I even bought two copies. :)

Book Review: It's as Simple as That!

Like Jennifer, I own just about every book out there on raw vegan diet and lifestyle and have tried every nutritional approach to health imaginable.
Now, finally, I have discovered the simple truth! After hearing about Natural Hygiene and then reading this book, I immediately began this diet and have never looked back. Stubborn health issues disappeared and I have felt the joy of vibrant health since.
This approach has many pluses: fresh fruit is sumptuous food and the pleasure of "indulging" is sweet indeed; my body feels light and fit at all times; my mind stays sharp, never dulled by heavy, fatty or refined non-foods; and most of all, preparing meals is so quick and simple, i am no longer a slave to stove or sink!
Now it is clear to me that this way is right -- the theory JUST MAKES SENSE -- but many people are hooked on modern science to tell them what is true. Here is where this book really shines. Dr. Graham's presentation of the theory and related facts should give even the most skeptical something to chew on and, if they try it out, easily digest!
Seriously, there is plenty of good science here, not to mention Dr. Graham's long standing and impeccable reputation in the health and fitness world. The FAQ's and testimonials add even more clarity to the concepts presented and, finally, the menus and nutritional charts give the reader all the practical information needed to get started easily on this exceptional plan.
My hope is that everyone will one day return to this way of eating (it is, after all, what we humans did for millennia) and witness a return of health to all people and the whole planet.

Book Review: LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this book! It is the kind of book that you read cover to cover in a hungry reading frenzy, then you read it again to absorb more. I have found that I keep referring to it. It will be come your reference book for all things food!

I especially like the seasonal menus, nutritional charts, the personal success stories and the 32 fundamental elements of health.

If you are serious about reaching your potential, this is the book for you!

Book Review: Life Saving Lifestyle Book

We have a family of five our ages range from 54 to 10. All of us live for the most part 80/10/10 lifestyle with great success (we do have some of the gourmet raw treats every now and then in moderation). Our children thrive and love living this way. They don't get picked by other kids and benefit from great health. No strep throat or ear infections at our house. No allergies or asthma and most definitely no ADD.

My husband has been living what Dr. Graham has written about for over 30 years now. He had severe rheumatoid arthritis and gave his body the conditions necessary to repair and heal itself. He has had no arthritis during the last 30 years.

I've been a primarily raw vegan for 11 years and for the last 3 almost 4 years been 100% with no regrets, looking back or craving for cooked food. During this time I've reduced the fat/protein, dumped the salt and slept more. I've upped the fruit intake and eat at least 1lb of tender greens and 1-11/2 lbs of veggies. 80/10/10 is a MUST READ for any true health seeker. Dr. Graham is right on and what he says works. You get out of it what you put into to it for sure. To me living this way is like a fountain of youth or it least it is slowing it down for me. My hair is shiny and black, my smiles lines are diminishing and the crow's feet around my eyes are hardly noticeable. People often mistake me for being 15-20 years younger than I am. I was so sick for most of life with many healthy issues including mega colon. I do not have even one issue that I used to have and the mega colon which I was told would never be cured is totally gone. When given the proper conditions to do so, the body will heal and repair itself, it will thrive.

In the beginning, when you start, I found it helpful to log in and measure everything eaten because it is just SO easy to get the extra fat and protein. Life is simple, fast and peaceful living this lifestyle. I say lifestyle because it is just that. It is no different to our family than tying shoes or scratching and itch. It is just what we do, how we live and what we love.

You could not give yourself or your family a better gift than to make this lifestyle change.

Perhaps, one day at a raw food event we will get to meet Dr. Graham in person and thank him in person for the time and work he put into writing the book and sharing this timeless information in words that everyone can understand and for bringing Natural Hygiene back to the spot light so that people everywhere can have the opportunity to regain and maintain their health.
