Book Review: Definitely, the argumentative indian

And not just only the argumentative indian, but also the cherry-picking one. I don't really know his political standpoint, so I don't know what agenda he was pushing forward, but he was definitely against the majority view of what makes India so beautiful. Another reviewer on amazon, a certain Mr. Agarwal has already gone ahead and said everything I really wanted to over here, so anything more would be redundant.
Oh and a final thing, the book can definitely not be judged by it's cover. In his essays, he has made a spoof of the message of not only the Gita, but also the Ramayan. I don't know why he's taken such an anti Hindu standpoint, but I certainly wasted my money by not listening to my elders, and truly judging a book by it's cover.
There are a few good things in the book, which deserve some merit. He writes eloquently, in a very polished manner, but having said that, in a nutshell, he comes across as very biased, more bangladeshi than indian (though he does have his moments of bengali-ness), and anti-Hindu.
