Book Reviews of The BFGBook Review: A Great Bedtime Story for Kids and Adults Alike Summary: 5 Stars
I remember reading this book several years ago and reading it on the bus and at school and before I went to bed. It brought me back to my childhood and the creativity and imagination I had as a child, and I'm sure several readers felt the same way. The story is fun and engaging, and so it makes a great bedtime story that you can read to yourself or to a child who still loves a good tale read out loud.

This is a very, very good book. My brother is totally crazy about it. Some parts of it are extremely humorous as well. About a month's worth of superb entertainment. You'll like it very much. Richard Bryant
Book Review: A Great Book To Read Is The BFG Summary: 5 Stars
The BFG by Roald Dahl is a great fantasy book that I would recommend to anyone who loves reading. The story begins with the BFG (Big Friendly Giant) snatching Sophie from her bed during "The witching hour". The giant takes her to his cave in giant country. By morning, Sophie soon finds out that she was very lucky because this giant is the only giant that doesn't eat "Human Beans". He's also half the size of the other giants, like The Blood bottler and Bone crunching Giant. Soon after Sophie gets there, her and the BFG become friends. They go dream catching and make a plan to go see the Queen of England. They soon find out that getting into her castle is harder than it sounds.
The BFG was a very creative and imaginative character. Being nine feet tall, he's a very small giant. All the others are twice or three times his size. He also has extremely big ears. They are for hearing dreams. He goes to dream country where there are dream bubbles. He puts them in bottles. He then blows the bubbles into children's bedrooms for them to dream. The BFG is also very protective of Sophie. He hides her in his cave, so the other giants didn't try to eat her. However one day, they break in and start searching for her. This puts the BF to the test. Will he tell them where she is, or will he be loyal to Sophie and get thrown around by the bigger, stronger giants?
If you're someone who is looking for a hilarious, interesting book, you should definitely check out The BFG by Roald Dahl.
Book Review: A Great Classic, Review by YM, age 12 Summary: 5 Stars
The BFG is a classic by Roald Dahl, who I think is one of the best authors I have read books by. It begins with a girl named Sophie being kidnapped by a giant from a home for orphans in England. Naturally, she is frightened of him at first, but as she gets to know the Big Friendly Giant (BFG), she hatches a plot to help him get rid of his nasty neighbours.
I particularly like this book, because unlike many other books with children overcoming problems, instead of adults helping the child, Sophie actually helps the queen of England get rid of a problem. This has great action, but it could also be a comedy because of the funny scenes, which is why I like it so much (I love funny books). I would recommend this book to anybody, child or adult, who likes funny books with some action.

Book Review: A Snatch Summary: 5 Stars
Would you like it if you got taken away from your house and your parents by a giant? I certainly wouldn't! Well if you like giants then the BFG is your type of story! I loved the BFG because of the awesome description! Also I liked the description of the setting. Dahl describes the setting using words like, "The blazing hot sun shining on the desert in giant country." By the way, the "BFG" stands for "The Big Friendly Giant," but when I started reading it, I thought it was ?The Big Fighting Giant.? It couldn?t be ?The Big Fat Giant? because he is so skinny! You should read the BFG, you will love it!
