Book Reviews of The BFGBook Review: Love it! Summary: 5 Stars
I was introduced to Roald Dahl when I was very young but I still love the story now that I'm older
Book Review: Marvelous! Summary: 5 Stars
Roald Dahl is truly a master of children's literature. I loved the BFG when I first read it at the age of nine, and ten years later it still holds remarkable appeal. Dahl's quirky tales create the perfect escape from daily life into an unforgettable world that is equally capivating and fun. The adventures of the Big Friendly Giant and Sophie will always recreate the carefree spirit of childhood in me.
Book Review: The BFG Summary: 5 Stars
`The BFG' is another simply delightful book from Roald Dahl. This follows the adventures of the orphan Sophie who sees the BFG one night as he blows dreams into children's bedrooms and is taken to live with him in his cave. They are surrounded by nasty, children eating giants and the rest of the book looks at how they capture them and rid the world of their tyranny. Although that is a brief snapshot of the storyline, this book has all of Dahl usual charm and imaginative writing that is a delight to immerse yourself in. From small touches, like the foul snozzcumber the BFG eats, to how the Queen builds a giant sized table when The BFG comes for breakfast, it is the details that make this story as rich and engaging as it is. There are wonderful illustrations from Quentin Blake throughout and these only add to the charm of the overall book. If you're a fan of Roald Dahl this shouldn't disappoint you and if you're new to his books then this a good first one to try. I also heartily recommend `Danny the Champion of the World'.

The BFG
By: Roald Dahl
The BFG book is about a girl named Sophie. She is captured by a giant during the witching hour. The giant takes her Giant country. She thinks the giant will eat her or something worse .When she discovers that the giant is the only one of his kind that doesn't eat human beings. Sophie and the giant will try to stop the giants from eating more human beings.
The BFG is very tall, he has very funny English an example is this:"Hi your majester".Sophie is a ten year old orphan girl. She is a very brave girl. She has blonde hair and uses glasses. Other important characters are the nine furious giants and the Queen of England.
This is a good book because it has lots of funny words like flushbunkling and others. I recommend this book for 10 and up. The book has a very good story and even better characters. The BFG says funny things like "you is barking at the wrong dog".
Book Review: The BFG Summary: 4 Stars
Roald Dahl is the author of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory," "Matilda," and "The Witches" and other children's classics. The BFG is about a girl who lives at an orphanage named Sophie. When Sophie sees a giant, when she shouldn't have, the giant has no other choice but to snatch her. But the giant isn't like the other giants. Good thing or otherwise he might have eaten Sophie after taking her from the orphanage. In the giant's world, things are very different for Sophie. After she learns about the other giants who do eat people, she creates a plan to save the world from them with the BFG's help of course.
