I just don't know how this book could be useful to anyone. I already knew how to nurse my baby to sleep or to hold him all night. This book is not for working moms. It does not give solutions for napping other than wearing your baby or sleeping with him. Unfortunately that is not an option when you have to work. I am all for attachment parenting, our baby slept with us for 6 months, but this book is only useful if you want to reaffirm your decision to do so. At 6 months, I was basically a zombie-still waking up every hour to feed my baby and getting up for work at 6 am. I came home and basically spent a few hours nursing my baby to sleep and then had to get up to clean my house. We finally let our son cry a little (really not much) and put him to sleep in his crib. I have to tell you--he is happier. He is sleeping more soundly and is able to soothe himself. He is napping longer, too. This book makes you feel like you are abusing your child if you let him learn to put himself to sleep. The "No Cry Sleep Solution" is a much more helpful book.
