Book Review: An invaluable resource Summary: 5 Stars
I do a Beatles show 5 days a week and have lots of books tohelp in my show, but none as comprehensive as this. This book isstraight out of the mouths of the boys themselves. It's honest, it'seducational and it's downright fun. The photos are fantastic and manypreviously unpublished. I would recommend this book to any seriousBeatles fan. It's going to help my show no end!
Book Review: And I love them! Summary: 5 Stars
I absolutely loved this book! I read it from cover to cover although you really don't have to. Pick it up and open it up randomly and I guarantee you won't put it down. What I especially loved about the book was how John Lennon was represented. His viewpoints and recollections about the topics at hand are presented alongside the others' seamlessly. The book is truely a work of art. This book and the whole 'Beatles Anthology' project prove that the Beatles were, without a doubt, a class act.
Book Review: Anthology for Beatles' fans! Summary: 5 Stars
This book is great and gives information from were Ringo grew up and up to the band breaking up. I includes all the info that the Beatles' would release. It is full of facts that you wouldn't know like the song "Penny Lane" was the street that John Lennon grew up on. The song "Yellow Submarine" was when the Beatles' were in a house and thought that they were in a big submarine.(They were on a LSD trip.)All the behind the scenes that you could think of.At the school I go to it is in the Library. The book was quotes all from the Beatles' and was put together by Neil Aspinall(Executive producer). There are many different people who worked on this book and is tough to list all of them!
Book Review: Anthology: Extraordinary Book Summary: 5 Stars
What can I say about this book? What can't I say about this book, I am 17 years old, and not many people in my school are as big Beatles fans as me and my friend Rich are. But I brought this book to school with me everyday and read it. People would say they didnt like the Beatles, but if I play a song for them, chances are they have heard it, and like it. So I have let a couple friends who weren't Beatles fans borrow my book. And every one of them loved it. I will read this book again and again, for a long time. If you like the Beatles now, or have ever liked them, you will want to get this book. It's loaded with stories behind the music, and lyrics, and tales of their childhood. Along with many many pictures, this huge book covers the entire career of the Beatles rise to the top from Liverpool.
