Book Review: Just what I was looking for!

I think this was the perfect book to teach my son about strangers. I tried to introduce the idea to him myself, but I couldn't explain what a stranger was without scaring him. He already likes the Berenstein Bears so this put a tough subject on his level and did a great job explaining the differences in strangers. I would recommend this book to everyone with a young child and I will be purchasing more copies for my nephews as well.Book Review: the berensteain bears learn about strangers

It's great when you have a favorite storyline such as these bears in your home anyway. And, it's even better when they address such issues as this - dealing with strangers. The book starts off with brother being concerned at how friendly sister is with everyone so mama bear shows her in a simple way what she should really do when mama or papa bear are not around. It takes a very scary situation and doesn't introduce paranoia in a child, but it makes them remember what to do. Great, great book and one that every library should own. Highly recommend!
