Book Review: Useful little collection of recipes

On the whole, not a bad collection of shortbread-focused recipes. As with most shortbread recipes, the ones found here are fairly easy to follow, and produce good results. The main criticism I have of the book is that they're American recipes - while this isn't a problem as such with American measures, certain ingredients may be a little tricky to get hold of. Having said that, experiments with substitutes (different kinds of flour etc.) can produce interesting results, so it's not necessarily a down-side.If you're specifically looking for shortbread recipes this isn't a bad book, but for something that would be much better value I would recommend a general cookbook with a few shortbread recipes included.
