Book Review: An ice cream cookbook for people with a lot of spare time
Summary: 3 Stars
This book is very fun to read - there are a lot of good ideas and recipes in it. Unfortunately the author writes to an American public and takes a lot of ingredients for granted and offers no substitutes if these are not found. There are a lot of ideas for using ice cream in entertaining e.g. make your own sundae-bar or ice-cream 'spaghetti with meatballs' April fools dish (I couldn't believe my eyes...). So basically I think this is a book for people who put entertaining before experimenting...
