The revelations regarding epigenetics were exciting.
The book is brief regarding "belief"; as if that portion was "a work in progress". As is, it is a call to faith in a something/someone out there that "communicates" through the essence of our cells.
Book Review: "Modern" Medicine

Bruce Lipton does an excellent job of explaining the biology of our cells and what that means. As a teacher of biology for doctors today, he is wise and presents that "modern" Medicine is archaic in some ways. My opinion is that when God informs, then Man and in this case doctors, have to "approve" what happens directly from God, there is a disconnect someplace. I particularly liked the part where Modern Medicine shuns the Energy Medicine approach to healing because they do not understand it, but use the same energy patterns to provide MRIs and Echocardiagrams, etc, in diagonsis. It doesn't seem to fit. I am thankful for men of science speaking out in truth about the changes we are beginning to understand, but sometimes slow to implement because of that lack of understanding. Regardless, energy healing works - even if doctors don't understand.Book Review: This book is not what it says it is

I have always had an enormous interest in Genetics and was thrilled when I had the opprotunity to read this book. At the beginning of the book Dr. Lipton delves into academic research and then tries to challenge biology by saying "genes and DNA do not control our biology; that instead DNA is controlled by signals from outside the cell". Which I failed to fully understand as that concept was the basis for Darwin's Orgin of the Species. It's well known that biological lifeforms adapt to their evironment and the concept is not revolutionary.
Sadly, Dr. Lipton's jump into New Age healing concepts prevented me from confirming that 'signals from outside a cell controls it's biology' was the basis for the book. This book was a complete disappointment but may be appriciated by those have an interest in the New Age Ideals.

I'd given up on the dead, sick, sad, and sorry "Hard Sciences" and the animated fossils ( scientists ) who lurk within them long ago, but now I find that a breakthrough so astounding and remarkable has taken place within one hard science that it COULD have the impact of a wrecking ball on the whole rotten structure of anti-life, Aristotlean-Absolutism that has been destroying the planet and everyone/everything on it for centuries now! I'm enthused! I'm positive about potential and possibilities on this planet! I'm genuinely happy about life. YOU CAN BE TOO!
If you care about this planet and ALL the living beings inhabiting it, you MUST read this book AND VIEW ALL OF Dr. Lipton's DVD presentations AT ONCE. The faster this information gets out, the faster human beings can turn the Earth's destruction around, re-adjust "modern medicine" to a complete health-providing condtion rather than symptom chasing, money-making entity, and FIX everything - the poisoning of soil, water, air, ourselves, and all other life forms.
READ THIS BOOK - IMMEDIATELY! Then get all of Dr. Lipton's DVD presentations. Alert your family members, friends, "doctors", local therapists ( yes, they need to know this ! ) and even government officials. DO YOUR PART IN GETTING THIS OUT INTO THE WORLD WHERE YOU ARE, DON'T SIT BACK AND WAIT FOR LIPTON AND/OR ANYONE ELSE TO DO ALL THE WORK THEMSELVES !
YOU can't afford to sit around and do nothing about this information. The faster the prevailing views of "hard science" re-adjust to this model, the faster YOU will personally benefit from it in ways you can't even imagine as you read this review; as will society, nations, continents, the planet, and all life forms on the planet.
