Book Reviews of The Book of Secrets: Unlocking the Hidden Dimensions of Your Life (Chopra, Deepak)Book Review: Another Chopra classic Summary: 5 StarsThis is great. In the last few years (give or take) I still prefer:
The Spontaneous Fulfillment of Desire: Harnessing the Infinite Power of Coincidence
Still. Much here. If you like Chopra already, get this either in book form or cd.
Book Review: One of Dr. Chopra's best books! A must read for enlightment! Summary: 5 StarsFirst I bought the CD set of this book. Was so pleased that I had to order the book. The book is something I can take with me while traveling or just to refer to. Dr. Chopra's insight has really helped me greatly. This book is superb. This is a book that can be read again over and over and each time that you read it, it will give you more insight in daily living and looking beyond what is seen. It has given me more understanding of my inner self. Amazon sent the book so quickly, thanks Amazon.
Book Review: Vague But true... Summary: 4 StarsThis was my first Deepak book, and overall I was very pleased. The author did an excellent job of bringing insight, and knowledge to the reader. Some parts were vague, but this is understandable due to the nature of the subject. A great book to open your perspective a little wider, and explore ideas that might not have crossed your mind otherwise. Thank you mister Chopra!
Book Review: The power to link anything to anything Summary: 1 StarsDeepak has this incredible ability to link spirituality to quantum physics or any serious scientific research to superstition. If you shut down your critical thinking, Deepak will let you believe that time can be stopped. His pseudo-logic example is the following: He took a plane to London and chatted with his neighbor. Time "flew" and he was in London before he knew it. This proves he was able to stop time. I am not sure this is just the track of time that his mind lost. I would beg any reader to pay a visit to the critical thinking section before reading Deepak Chopra's material.
Book Review: One-World Summary: 5 Stars Chopra has several great insights in this book. If you use his "unitary-world" approach, you accept whatever happens as what you need at the time: less conflict, strife, and alienation. Also, he has an intriguing notion about the on-switch and the off-switch of the universe: when it is in "off," one can reimagine the world to be the way you want it to be, and achieve much with little effort: sort of like using leverage in the physical plane. Much here that will improve your life. His central metaphor of the butterfly, transformed from the caterpillar, underscores the mysterious, unpredictable nature of transformation, which will work in your life too, if you carefully apply Chopra's precepts.
