Book Review: Inspiring and thought provoking

I highly recommend this audio series. Dr. Chopra is so concise in his explanations of quantum physics and how life works. If you are into spirituality and/or self awareness you will enjoy this series. I listen to these CDs almost everyday. I have listened to the entire series about 4 times in the last month and continue to hear new information.
If you want to feel more peace with yourself and life, please listen to The Book of Secrets. I want to give this to everyone I know.

Book Review: One of the most important books I have ever read

I bought this book on a whim having read Chopra's books off and on for years, and also because I need to keep pumping positive ideas and concepts into my head periodically to believe I am actually "evolving". I was very delighted to find that this is not about psyching yourself up to live in a fantasy land that is reserved for sages and gurus. This book is about what is going on right now both inside your body and outside in your reality (which are really both the same). Chropra draws on science and religion to expand on his "secrets" that really just require that you get out of your own way in order to access them. It is living in a dualistic world that keeps us separate from each other, our own divinity, etc. By merely paying attention and accepting responsibility for what is happening in your life, you can access the system that is already within you to create a profound change in your life.
I have already bought 2 more copies to give to friends who like to think about why they might be here and what all this is about. Both of them are also thrilled. So buy this book. Or don't.
Book Review: Great insights.

I found this book to be very insightful re: the workings of the mind and the ruts the mind gets into ("samskaras"), especially regarding anger. It's a bit wordy. I think it could have been cut by one-third, but there are helpful points for the seeker, and for the average person working on him or herself. I have enjoyed some of Chopra's other books, and found others to be slightly insubstantial. This one is wonderful.Book Review: Who gets this stuff?

I have read a good part of these glowing reviews and I must just be stupid or something. I really love hearing different opinions and alway hope that I will be enlightened by hearing a new view. I have listened to one of Deepak's books on CD before and was confused. I listened to this one and had to rewind and listen to ideas up to four times. I really love Deepak's voice... I love that Indian accent.... But the ideas seem to be idiotic. He makes assertions without any basis and then starts on a lot of junk science to support some of his notions. I guess that all of you DP readers are used to this Newage stuff, but it makes no sense to me. I will not waste any more money on Deepak's work. This book will probably work for you "feel good" believers, but if you have an ounce of logic, please look elsewhere.Book Review: Changed Me

This is the first book I've read of Deepak, and I must say, it is something that more people should check out. This book helped me realize new and better ways to go spiritually. A must read.
