Book Review: Impressive piece of work.
Summary: 5 Stars
Solid. Extremely good covering of the many parts over the years, left out little (don't read this book near bedtime), included police thinking, operations and tactics (should they have revealed so much?), frustrations; various personnae making slow but determined progress; errors likely to be repeated--but perhaps fewer after improvements resulting from this case. Book could not have been much better unless the criminal had given an interview.
Intelligent and unblinking, pretty much, treatment. The author, a MSW--who else could have ground through all this?), did heavy lifting and valuable work here.
