Book Review: A tender tale of awakening faith and wonder. Summary: 5 StarsThe debut novel of Maureen Kahl, The Bracelet is a spiritual novel about the power of music to awaken hearts and souls. A female journalist avoids the song "Unchained Melody" because of its connection to the most painful part of her life - until she hears it beautifully sung by a pop-music reality show superstar. Her faith in God rekindled, she sets out to thank the singer with a handmade charm bracelet, unknowing of how her journey will forever transform lives around them. A tender tale of awakening faith and wonder.
Book Review: A Romance Fantasy to Capture Your Heart Summary: 4 StarsI heard about this book through a Clay Aiken fan site. Curious as I am, I purchased the book and found it totally captivating. I was unable to put it down and have read it several times. If you're into romance and morality this is the book to read. I found it thoughtful and heartwarming. Even though the storyline is somewhat unrealistic it was fun to drift away with the fantasy. Isn't that what romance novels are for???? I think Maureen did a wonderful job on this intial venture. I would definately recommed the book.
Book Review: "The Bracelet" and Clay Aiken Summary: 5 StarsI read this book and I immediately knew it was written about Clay Aiken. The softness regarding the character, Chance, could not have been anyone else's personality but Clay. The love he portrayed for Lauren, his mother, his God, and his fans is exactly the way Clay lives his life. I recommend this book to every Clay fan (or mate) to be able to associate the beautiful love story and feelings in the story.
Excellent job, Maureen
Book Review: I Love This Book Summary: 5 StarsI really love this book - it's been along time since I found a book that I read in only three nights - I had to find out how it ended! Refreshing, also, to read a book about true love that is written in a way that would allow me to pass it along to a daughter or grandaughter to read - no bad language or overt sexual references - very rare today! I will be reading it again. This is only the second book I have ever reviewed, and I am happy to recommend it. I also hope that this Author will be writing additional books.
