Healthy dining out, and dining in, just got a whole lot easier with The Calorie Counter for Dummies, and I wish it had been around to include as a resource in my latest book Expect the Best: Your Guide to Healthy Eating Before, During, and After Pregnancy (American Dietetic Association). Not only does the book offer a calorie guide for eating establishments from Arby's to Zaxby's, it also provides calorie counts for everyday foods like bread, pasta, eggs, fruit, and meat, and supplies reliable information for maintaining a balanced diet, as well as guidelines for how to stay healthy, including getting enough exercise, and enough sleep. If your life is busy, and you don't always have the time to think about good nutrition, a book like this is a valuable resource.
