Book Review: 'Poetic Justice...'

Tales of the Murda Mamas begins with Mecca delivering an evil and vengeful beating on Miamor. Grief has taken Mecca to the brink of insanity as he sadistically glories in each vicious blow that he bestows upon a helpless Miamor. Losing consciousness from her torture and abuse, Miamor travels down memory lane as we delve into how she landed in this gory predicament. The revelation of the abusive childhood that bound she and sister Anisa to one another as well as the magnetic yet taboo attraction that Miamor has to Anisa's dude are just a few plots that are explored as well as explained in book #2. Will Breeze escape captivity from Ma'tee in a foreign land? Will Zyir find his true love? Will Miamor and Carter's love be strong enough to stand against his familial obligations as well as bonds?
The Cartel 2 is seasoned with soul stirring scenes as the eminent Dynamic Duo blesses us with another adventurous, heart racing sophomore installment to this highly anticipated trilogy. Ashley & JaQuavis' ingenious style is blossoming before our very eyes with each and every new venture. They not only fabricate classic gangsta reads, but also enthrall us with the rhymes and the reasons that these illusionary and daring icons venture into their forbidden and harrowing lifestyles. A&J captivate us immensely as we fall in love with each innovative and intriguing character upon introduction. The Cartel 2 has such an intense and creative plot that will leave your emotions in turmoil, but in essence I highly commend them as well as note the growth in their trade. Many were frustrated with the ending of #2, but I give them nothing but major kudo's for pioneering such a twist in urban lit. This duo's skills are perpetually sharpening as their imagination soars to enormous heights that only intensifies their fan bases allegiance and curiosity. #1 was amazing, #2 was awesome, so I know that I KNOW that #3 has superior stamped all in and around its production.
