Book Reviews of The Case for IsraelBook Review: Don't know what to think of it all Summary: 3 Stars
I have always been an ardent supporter of a Jewish/Israeli State and a Palestinian State and reading this book only affirms my heart felt sympathy for the suffering of Jewish people around the world because of their religion. I am defiantly not for terrorism, because it is a result of the Palestinian leader's inability to compromise forcing its people to act irrationally against Israel and pretty soon against all people around the world (it is a barbaric act). This book is not very scholarly. The author has chosen only a few sources to rebuttal his arguments towards. There has to be the other side too. The other side seems like a betrayal. The Palestinian people obviously did not have enough resources to purchase lands held by landowners to establish businesses for themselves in their land prior to Jewish people coming in and purchasing them, this seems to be a sad thing reflecting a superiority of money rather than culture and yes the Jewish people did do a lot for the region with their financial investments in hospitals and infrastructure but that still leaves the poor Palestinians in the whims of somebody and that is it's arrogant, barbaric leader, and the reality that now they may not have a choice but to accept living in Israel for security if anything else.
So it comes down to this, they both need a home.
Book Review: Easy Read, Extremely Important Summary: 5 Stars
For anybody who wants to understand today's Arab-Israeli conflict, they must read Dershowitz's book. It is factual, simple and brilliant.
Book Review: Excellent Book Summary: 5 Stars
This book should be required reading for history classes in high school and at universities. Most major allegations against Israel are refuted by solid, historical fact. You don't need to be Jewish to understand the compelling need for this book and its ability to debunk the many negative myths that are associated with Israel.
Book Review: Extremely helpful book in understanding the Middle East conflict. Summary: 5 Stars
Wow what an eye opener. This is a great book. The author Professor Alan Dershowitz, is not only a firm supporter of Israel's right for existence but also a stern critic on Israel's foreign policies. He is by no means bias. I really hope this great work should be required reading in countering scores of Pro Palestinian literature in college campuses.
Book Review: Full of lies Summary: 1 Stars
Dear reader,
I fully support that you read this book. But you have to keep in mind something.. Note all facts presented and research them to know the sum of lies within the pages of The Case For Israel. I promised myself that I will publish a paper to reply to all the lies presented.
The cases are presented with no supportings most of the time. If there is a supporting to what is there, then it is a biased one. The potential customers for this book are mostly university students who lack the required knowledge and background to judge the material. The purpose : Brain Wash.
To view the other side of the coin, I strongly recommend a more objective, factual, non-biased and full of supporting "The Question of Palestine" for Edward Said. Read it after you read "The Case for Israel" to know the difference.
