Book Reviews of The ChoiceBook Review: A Good, Entertaining read, but a bit of a Let Down Summary: 3 Stars
There are already excellent synopsis of the book I won't add more except to say that not every book created by Nicholas Sparks is equal. In my opinion he is a top-notched romance writer and I have enjoyed many of his books over the years, but I was a bit disappointed in "The Choice". Maybe the moon wasn't in the right orbit or something, I'm not sure why but the plot was weak and the depth of the characters seemed one-dimensional. I almost got the feeling that this book was a rush job from the publisher. I did shed a tear or two at the end and there were some excellent reading moments in the story. Overall it wasn't a terrible book, but an entertaining read. Maybe his next release will perk me up. I hope so, because he is one of my favorite authors.
Book Review: A Great Love Story Summary: 5 Stars
I loved this book, but then I am a huge fan of Nicholas Sparks and think that all of his books are fantastic and great love stories! I would recommend this book to everybody. It is a warm and endearing love story with a beautiful ending. Nicholas Sparks really knows how to make you believe in true love and realize the power of it. It is an amazing story about love, commitment, courage, and most of all faith. Even though the story has its tragic moments that bring you to tears, Nicholas Sparks, has a great way of turning those sad tears into blessings.
Book Review: A Perfect Choice Summary: 5 Stars
Once again Nicholas Sparks has captured another sensitive matter and turned it into an adventure that encompasses passion and reality with his signature touch of intrigue. Will he or won't he? His words transport us into an emotional situation with the tender touch of a wordmaster worthy of accolades. I loved The Choice as I have all his novels. Can't wait for the next one.
Book Review: A Should Read Summary: 5 Stars
The Choice is a book every couple, married or significant, should read. What choice would be made if your partner was unable to do so? This book is a must read for adult children as well. The storyline is romantic, poignant and thought provoking.
Book Review: A pleasant, easy read Summary: 4 Stars
Sometimes it is such a pleasant escape to lose yourself in an easy work of fiction. "The Choice" by Nicholas Sparks ("The Notebook," "Message in a Bottle") is that kind of book. It tells of the romance between Travis and Gabby, of love found and nearly lost, and the difficult choice that Travis must make. It is a book of hope, and holding on to faith when all seems lost. Any romantic at heart will enjoy this book. Spending time with it is a very pleasant way to spend a day.
