Book Reviews of The ChoiceBook Review: Another tear jerker Summary: 4 Stars
I love Nicholas Sparks, and own all of his books. He never fails to make me long for the types of relationships he writes about in his books. The Choice was very good, but I would not rank it up as high as I would with his others (The Notebook, A Bend in the Road, The Rescue, A Walk to Remember...). I did enjoy the book but others of his are definitly better. I didnt cry as much as I usually do, but I still had some tears to shed. Its obviously a must-have for any fan, but it let me down just a little.
Book Review: Another winner! Summary: 5 Stars
After reading Dear John, I really hoped this book would be much better and it was. It was a fast read, but very enjoyable. Grab some tissues!
Book Review: Beautiful Love Story, Classic Sparks Summary: 5 Stars
I am not one to give a bunch of details in my reveiws, as I have found that sometimes they spoil the book. This book would not be worth reading if I told you details. I will say that this is classic Nicholas Sparks. Boy meets Girl in Small Town, Boy and Girl fall in Love, Boy and Girl face an obstacle. The obstacle, aka The Choice, is an emotional journey, not only for the 2 main characters, but also for the reader.
As usual, Sparks has a way of writing in which you are invisioning yourself watching the events unfold. As usual in Sparks style, I found myself feeling the emotions of the characters and aching for their pains. The Choice made me reflect on the importance and long-lasting effects that our choices have on our lives. Have you ever been put in a position in which you were forced to make an impossible choice? Did it turn out for the good or for the bad. I feel for Travis Parker, as his choice was one that I could not have made and am glad that I am not the one makeing. As he asks himself in the book, "How far would you go in the name of love?"
Book Review: Beautifully Written Summary: 5 Stars
Another heartfelt love story by Nicholas Sparks. As always I recommend all of his novels & I will be awaiting his next story.
