Book Review: the best Lynch book

The essays in this volume tackle the often tricky subject of reading Lynch's work, bringing it right up to date with Mulholland Drive. Several of the essays deviate from the paths usually taken when discussing Lynch, notably the chapters on Eraserhead and Mulholland Drive. A huge amount of content from a relatively slim volume, it may not be for newcomers but certainly enhances the scope available for avid fans who may have read Lynch books already. The chapters are all clearly written, evoking the spirit of the films, never turning into Dullsville. Overall, a triumph and essential for any serious film fan's collection.
