Book Review: 8th graders perspective on the book.
Summary: 3 Stars
After I finished reading the Coffin Quilt i wasn't that impressed because it was just to much information. I like books that are intresting but not packed full of information. It was kind of like reading a history book for school. That is not what people of my age want to read today. On the good side the book was quick to finish and wasn't to hard to read at all. It was a true story which made it intersting. The book takes place in the late 1800's Fanny McCoy is the main character of the story. The McCoys and the Hatfeilds have been fighting ever since she could remember. The fued started in 1880 when Johnse Hatfeild ran away with Roasenna McCoy. The fighting is really affected Fanny's life she can't seem to think of anything else except the fight. Overall, this was a great book, just too much information. I would reccomend this book for someone who enjoys history becouse this book had PLENTY of that. Well read this book becuase you will learn something new about what happened in Americas history.
