Book Review: This series will last you a lifetime

How can I say this? My favorite book...that's pretty much all I can say about this. But, I can also tell you I know I will still love this book when I'm an old widow sitting in my rocking chair. And I am a teen now. If I had never found this series, my life would be so different...this I promise you. It changed me (in SUCH a good way!) There's a little of Anne (with an "e") in everybody.Note: If you don't like reading series or something, do yourself a big favor and read at least the first through third book.

It took a month from the shipping date to receive this boxset but it was well worth it - they do warn you when booking that it could take this long - read all these as a child and the presentation box and souvenir editions are a lovely reminder and keepsake!Book Review: Touching,Funny and VERYYYY Entertaining!!!

I read a lot.. an average of 4-5 books a week.When a freind told me about this book ... i was quite baffled...i'm into classics... but i had read 'Kilmeny of the orchard' before and had not like it. So i took 'Anne of green gables' very reluctantly.An hour later i could'nt put it down and wanted to read all the titles.I became an instant fan of LM.Montgomery.
Anne is really enchanting, with an excellent imagination and a kind heart with a quick temper. it's the best recipe for a book in a cosy bed.It gives a modern classical feel.Its written really well...and all the characters are really well drawn...Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert , Diana, Mrs. Lynde and ( Gilbert)
If you like to read claasics as well as contempory books .. i 'll advise u to read this.

Anne of Green Gables by L.M. Montgomery is a very funny book. The main character is a young girl named Anne who has been adopted by Matthew and Marilla Cuthbert. She has a bad temper and a big imagination. Most of the time she cannot control her mouth and blurts out the first thing that comes to her mind. She lives on a small farmhouse on the most perfect piece of land. It has grassy hills, a beautiful forest, a bubbling stream, a colorful orchard and patches of flowers every where. She wants so much to stay on this farmland but Matthew and Marilla do not think they will keep her. Finally Anne convinces them to let her stay. Her life is very different because of her temper and she endures many hardships, such as mistakenly making one of her friends drunk and dyeing her hair green. This is a great book; try reading it you might like it!Book Review: Very good books!

The Anne of Green Gables series is one of the most interesting set of books I've ever read. Anne with an E is a great heroine; she's always getting into some kind of trouble! Even when she's all grown up, it seems she still can't help messing up sometimes!
