Book Review: A must-have collection for fans of Anne!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have loved the Anne of Green Gables stories since I was a girl, but never had the books as I used to borrow them from the library. Finally as I got older I resolved to get the whole collection and this set is a relatively inexpensive set that comes in a nice box that holds all of them together. Every girl should read Anne's stories at some point in her life for they are filled with childhood innocence, beautiful scenes, and heartwarming characters that remain with you long after you've read the stories.

Book Review: Anne of Green Gables Boxes Set
Summary: 2 Stars

I'm a big fan of the classics and was happy to order this set for my neice for her birthday. I was terribly embarrassed however, when she opened the set the box holding the books came completely apart! I think a boxed set of books (even paper back) should be framed in materials more solid than heavey construction paper. Next time I'll order hard back and avoid the humiliation.

Book Review: THE Best Book Series Ever!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have truly and honestly enjoyed ever ounce of theses books and hope to be able to read many times more!

Book Review: The best things...the simple ones
Summary: 5 Stars

Like some people, I tend to be really critical, in books or movies, is "love" or "hate" to me. Especially in movies based on books.
I know and love the Anne of the movies...But this books were just a wonderful experience to me...so much...that..from now on I just couldn't see the movies or love them as before.
Every single book, from "Anne of Green Gables" to "Rilla of Ingleside", take the reader to a fantastic journey, full of sweet and unforgettable moments, simple moments that make you smile and think "dejavu".
"Sometimes the best things in life are the simple ones", the firt day at school, the first friend, the inocent first worries, the garden at moonlight, that faithful doggie, the first love, the university, the babies, the crazy cats...I can go on forever with this list...
If you read this (yes, I'm talking to "you", fellow reader), I recommend this series for your collection...if you have six or a hundred years I'm positive...you're going to love it.
Like Anne, maybe you could discover a "kindred spirit" or a "son of Joseph" while you read this, ...and then, maybe, you can recognise more of them in real life.

Book Review: Anne of Green Gables
Summary: 5 Stars

Have you ever met a person who hates the color of their hair, talks a lot, and takes major offense when someone teases them. Well in L. M. Montgomery's novel Anne of Green Gables, you will meet a person exactly like that. Learning important life lessons such as forgivness and love are valuable and worth keeping all your life.
Anne Shirley, a skinny, red-headed orphan who loves to daydream, is sent to live at the Cuthberts house called Green Gables in Avonlea. Although they were expecting a boy, Matthew and Marilla decide to keep her if she will be a "good little girl" and act respectfully. Even with her fiery temper and continuous scrapes she bumps into, the Cuthberts agree that Anne is a unique girl full of opportunites. Almost immediately, she forms a group of friends and one particular enemy-Gilbert Blithe. Anne promises herself that she will never forgive him for teasing her. A year or two later, he apologizes for teasing her and would like to be friends. Although she resents being unkind to him for so long, she harshly denies him. As childlike Anne starts to mature and blossom, she realizes that she needs to mend her friendship with Gilbert. But is it too late?
Anne of Green Gables is great! The victories and trails that Anne experiences throughout the book make enjoyable to read and and unforgettable tale. It has some challinging vocabulary and is a general fiction. I reccomend this book to anyone who likes to read about real life lessons mixed with humorous characters.
