Book Review: Idiot's Guide to Ballroom Dance
Summary: 1 Stars
This is NOT a good book for beginners. It tells you a lot about the history of dance, but is very poor on showing you the actual dance steps involved in the common ballroom dances. There is not even a mention of the Quickstep, and "footprint" patterns are sadly missing. It says much about body position and contra-body-movment but fails to show you where to put your feet, which is THE most important thing for the beginner! I found it very difficult to learn from it and had to turn to other books.
