Book Review: Good holiday reading.

A fairly standard run of the mill police 'whodunit'. The criminal is not obvious, a good holiday read which can be put down and picked up again. Has some interesting insights into the workings of the Hollywood porno film industry.Book Review: brilliant, made me think!

I found this book quite slow going at the start but then it just gripped me and I had to keep reading. I felt part of Harry Bosch's life and I wanted him to prove that he had killed the right man to begin with. I found the ending a bit strange and I felt that it could have been followed up a bit more but apart from that a truly brilliant book and I can't wait on my next book to arrive.Book Review: Brilliant

Bosch is such a loser, you are drawn in to his messed up life once again and it hardly lets up for the first hundred pages, then takes another turn for the worst!Great book with good characters which will appeal to those who like detective books with plenty of dodgy murders. it is also a good court-room thriller unlike the other MC books so far I have read.
I will not stop until I have read all the MC books so far. This is one of his best.

This to me is one of the better Bosch novels....as well as incorporating 2 murder cases and the court room Connelly evokes a sense of turn another page just to find out more.The sad part of course is coming to the end...the twist of this book is extremely moving. I would like to read more.......
I have read all of Connelly's books and can't say there are bad ones on ly that some are better than others
