Book Review: "The tragedy man..."

Brian Keene is at the point Stephen King was a few years ago. You couldn't wait for his next book and when you started reading it, you couldn't put it down.Mr. Keene is becoming the booming voice behind earth's apocalypses and this greatbook follows that trend right up to his bleak ending. The middle section seems to change the theme a little, but it's like the story's protagonist says, he had to write it down to let someone know what was happening somewhere else. The use of an 80 plus year old man as the storyteller was an unusual choice, until you begin to read the tale he unfolds and the nightmares he puts down in print raise the hairs on the back of your neck. Perhaps Mr. Keene will bring us a second book on this, like he did with City of the Dead, and let us know what finally happens to all the survivors, including Kevin and Sharon. Again, this is an excellent read. Quick Brian please get out another book for us addicts.We can't wait!
