Book Reviews of The Double Agents (Men at War)Book Review: Double Agents Summary: 5 Stars
Fans of W.E.B.Griffin would welcome the story and action
in Double Agents. It is typical of the author's ability
to gain and hold the attention of the reader throughout the story. The plot is well thought out and is logical.
While reading the book one can easily imagine the action which takes place througout. The theme of the story actually took place during World War II. It tells of one of the cleverest British intelligence operations which
duped the Nazis into wrong preparations for an attack by the Allies.
Book Review: Double Agents Summary: 1 Stars
This book is waste of time to read. WEB GRIFFIN has long time been my favorite author beginning with THE CORPS and MEN AT WAR series. His last couple of novels have not been worth the effort to read.
Book Review: Double Agents Summary: 1 Stars
This book was very obviously NOT written, or even co-authored by W.E.B. Griffin. I have read Mr. Griffin's military and police series of books at least 4 times each and I know his style of writing, which I truly enjoy. Double Agents was obviously written solely by Mr. Griffin's son, an author of unfortunately far less talent.
Book Review: Double Agents Summary: 1 Stars
First W.E.B. Griffin book that I haven't thoroughly enjoyed. Something missing as compared with his other books. Half the book was a rehash of the "Man Who Never Was" book written 40 years ago, about a great deceiption to help convince the Nazis that the Allies weren't going to land on Sicily after pushing the Germans out of North Africa. The rest of the book lacked the usual flow and seemed very disjointed. First Time Ever I'd have to give a W.E.B. Griffin book a do not bother to read recommendation.
Book Review: Double Agents Summary: 3 Stars
This is a reasonably good read. It moves well and maintains tension throughout.
The collaboration is obviously not the W.E.B. Griffin of the "Men at War" series.
