Book Review: Just perfect!
Summary: 5 Stars
I had been dreaming about a book like this for some time, ever since I'd first heard The Dresden Dolls playing. And this book is everything I could have hoped for and more. The photos and art-work by Amanda Palmer are just beautiful, it's full of lots of interesting information about the forming of the band and the writing of the first album. And then you get to the greatest addition to the book, the piano score for the entire first album. Obviously if you don't play the piano then this will mean very little to you, but for any Dresden Dolls fan who does then let me say, this score is note-perfect, it hasn't been dumbed down at all. It's very easy to follow and there are some wonderful little performance notes written in hand on the page, to help give your performance that little bit extra. All in all I cannot recommend this book highly enough. Get it. Everyone, get it!
