I have been using the Tarot for 12 years now, and although I enjoy using it, I had never been able to find the right one until the DruidCraft Tarot was given to me as a gift. It fuses together images and ideas from Druidry and Wicca, and as a practising Witch I connected with it immediately. The illustrations on the cards are just beautiful. They are haunting, evocative and inspiring - perfect for intuitive and psychic work. The accompanying book is so much more than a flimsy guide. For the beginner, each card is described in detail, and the authors have managed to capture the "feel" of each card (not an easy task). For the more advanced practitioner, there is much information about the Pagan/spiritual relevance of the cards, and many spreads to try. Some of the card-names have been changed from the Traditional Tarot. These are welcome alterations, as I have never been comfortable with The Devil (a Christian invention) appearing in a reading. Here, he is replaced by Cernunnos. I would recommend this pack to any Tarot enthusiast, but particularly those of a Pagan persuasion.
