Book Review: Biased and transparent

What can I say except this is one the single largest piles of pro-American drivel I've read for a long time (and I've read a lot!). I'm generally pro-US but even I found it hard to take the plot which consisted of fiction with a sprinkling of propaganda which unfortunately made it impossible to enjoy this book. There is a fine art in suspending disbelief and unfortunately the author here appears to be using this book as a pedestal for his own views using real information therefore destroying any pretence of being a full work of fiction.

The author's sanctimonious views are so impressive I'd challenge any half intelligent American to not laugh. If we were to listen to the author the US is now on a god sponsored crusade to rid the earth of anything not based on their 'Judo-Christian' moral values and show the 'misled' Europeans that their understanding of fairness and justice are quite clearly unsuitable for the new millennium.

Clearly there are dozens of other books which are pro-American which make great novels. The key issue with this one is that at its core messages to be the truth and this comes through in the entire book. If you really want to read this kind of thing why not try the Republican manifesto?
