As in all first books of a series...it sets the setting and the plot; even though it takes till the end of the book to get it.
Spiderwick is a fantasy many children will love, just because most of what this book is about brings new life to a outside world under our very noses.
A family has just moved into Spiderwick mantion and it doesn't take long for one curious ridden boy to go on a adventure that will shape a new world for his family!

You may think this book is about 3 normal kids that live in a normal house. You are wrong, very wrong. It's about three kids that seam like there not related, but they are.
In these book the characters, Jared, Simon, and Mallory. They hhave to learn to be corsages, and helpful. They have to face brownies. Which you will learn about in the book like what they look like and all that.
Can you believe the entire story takes place in the spiderwick aria. They go in the addict and basement and every ware in-between.
If you are really fond of books you shod find out how it ends. Hear are some questions for you to answer
* Do they all live?
* Do they louse there memory?
* Dose something bad happen to them?

The Spiderwick Chronicles is a tale about 3 siblings, Jared, Simon and Mallory. The children, along with their mother, move into an old and battered estate, only to find secret creatures milling about everywhere.
This book is a wonderful read for all ages. It is filled with an exciting adventure, riddles, mysteries, fun creatures, and a story you will remember. I can't recommend this book enough.

The book Spider wick by Tony Diterzille, and Holly Black; was an eye catching story that I could never put down. The characters Jared Grace, his brother Simon, and his sister Mallory explore and find things about the old house. Jared Grace my favorite character told the story through his point of view, and when mysteries in the book started to appear he always wanted to explore and find out more about theme. Thus being my favorite character.
In this story they moved into to their great aunts house, an old Victorian style house that look like it was going to fall apart. As they where getting acquainted they found things that u don't see every day..
Jared had found a small door that led in to an office. Around the office where shelf's with small jars scattered every where; on the front of the
jars where labels, and inside where small creatures that he had never seen before.
In the middle of the room was an old wooden desk with a book labeled the Field Guide? As he opened the book he stepped into a world he would have never imagined. Soon after they heard doors closing and what seemed like small foot steps.
They read on and found out things about their great aunt Lucinda and little creatures that she had conversations with. And many more exciting thing u will find when u read this book.
I liked this book because I could never set it down the creatures and the mysteries that never seemed to unravel till the next page.
A mysteriously, mind twisting book that always kept me thinking. If you like those book then u should consider reading this book!
