Book Review: I'm Glad I Found This Book

I've been trying to develop a meditation practice for quite a while now. I haven't been able to stay consistent. My mind and emotions have gotten in the way over and over again. It's been frustrating. I thought I'd have to move to a monastery to focus and understand this process. I'm glad I found this book instead. The chapter about "The Obstacles of Stillness" was worth the purchase for me. The whole book was filled with helpful guidance that made sense. It's obvious the author has studied meditation and still remembers what kind of support and encouragement beginners need. I'm on day 3 of consistently sitting down and meditating. I've actually felt like I can do this thanks to the positive presentation of this book.
