Book Review: Good Story..

I have to say that this is a good story and that is about it. If you truly believe this stuff you are very uneducated and it would be safe to call you a nut. I stumbled upon this book accidentally looking for information on Gaia Theory, a theory developed in the sixties by an english scientist by the name of James Lovelock (not aliens or "vibrational beings"). I am not going to quote this theory, but if you do a little digging on your own you can read all about it. I am open minded, and I have a lot of different beliefs on meditation, spirituality, and even alien life forms (UFO's etc., but this guy's PROPOSALS are too far fetched, and he presents them like they are facts. Also, I have done a LOT of reading over the years on mysticism, mythology, spirituality, religion, history, and some of the new age stuff as well. It almost seems like this guy did a lot of reading as well because everything he proposes has already been presented in various forms. He just shuffles it up a little and gives you a new twist. If you stumbled upon this title because you wanted to read something interesting about 2012, or even Gaia Theory as I did I reccomend an author by the name of Lawrence Joseph. He has 2 great books on this stuff. One is called "Apocalypse 2012", and the other "Gaia, the Growth of an idea." Joseph takes a scientific stance on these issues and applies it with a journalists perspective to give a feeling that you are reading something credible. Not like the garbage being presented to you in this book. I know this review sounds harsh, but after reading some of the other reviews on this book it sounds like people are actually eating this stuff up. C' mon people, if you did a little research you would know better than to put your faith in this garbage.
