Book Review: A Compelling Read
Summary: 5 Stars
This compelling novel had me turning the pages to the end. What makes a good novel? Do you care about the main the character? Sometimes reading the negative reviews on Amazon can cause you to miss a great story, but don't let that happen in this case. Plots can be dinged to death, but if you care about the character, then you breeze past minor flaws. Almost any novel has the flaw that it's not reality.
That said, I highly recommend this book as a great escape. For some reason, it makes me think of "Memory of Running," by Ron McLarty. [[ASIN:0143036688 The Memory of Running]
Check them both out! Both are great love stories that a man can enjoy.
Also try "Desolate Angel," where a detective is murdered and wakes up as a ghost. Another great read and love story. I can't wait for the next one in the series. Desolate Angel (A Dead Detective Mystery)
