Book Reviews of The Giving TreeBook Review: A Goldmine!! Summary: 5 Stars
An incredible sensitive book covering the subject of unperishable love. So inspiring that it makes one wonder what this world would be like without love. A love so great that it makes one wonder if the human race is capable of loving at this level. It is so well written that it is not only be meant for a child, but also for the adult who hence learns the most important lesson of giving love. The Giving Tree is so significant that it inevitably makes people want to weep, mourn, cry, and give all at the same time. A Truly inspirational book for all ages. Book Review: A LIFE-LONG LESSON Summary: 5 Stars
So many aspects of this book will teach children (and adults) how to be better friends and people. I am 24, a college grad with honors and I STILL consider this my favorite book. We should all learn to be as unselfish as the Tree, and to appreciate the 'Tree' in our life.
Book Review: A Lesson To Learn Summary: 5 Stars
The Giving Tree is a great book for children expressing the importance of giving and receiving. This book is very helpful in the sense to show children the meaning of "giving." The tree loved the boy so much, she was willing to give him anything and expected nothing in return but his happiness. The Giving Tree is an enjoyable book for young children and they can learn the true value of "giving."

Book Review: A Lovely, Moving Book Summary: 5 Stars
This popular children's book, a classic, is beautifully written and illustrated by Shel Silverstein. It's simple drawings, and moving, poetic text, still gets me close to tears whenever I read it to my daughter, who also enjoys it. It's one of my personal favorite children's books, and the story inside will inspire young and old alike. Makes a great holiday or birthday present for those younger children (up to around age 8) that are hard to find presents for.
