Book Reviews of The Gods of Eden

Book Review: A Well Organized Failure Of A Book
Summary: 1 Stars

The material is very well organized and seems to be based on well researched history and new age theories. I think it fails on the historical interpretation though. It's too left field and yes I agree to conspiracy-based. I dont believe some ancient rebel Brotherhood Vs Alien Earth Owners and Caretakers theory should be taken seriously.

Book Review: A generally good read, but.....
Summary: 3 Stars

Honestly, I'm not quite sure how to rate this book. On the one side, the author posits a theory at the outset but only barely carries it forward through the book and provides scant evidence to support it. On the other side, the author takes the reader through a facinating view of history and points out a lot of unseen links between seemingly disperate events. The writing is mostly engaging and the progression quite easy to follow, but at points there are jarring subject changes from one paragraph to the next. Most of the book is an attempt at an objective view toward historical events, but at the end the author makes a marked (though not necessarily unexpected) turn in to the metaphysical.

As much as I enjoyed reading the book overall, I do find myself questioning the value of the material because of some of what the author said. In at least one area I believe he stated as fact something which I believe (though I'm no expert) is incorrect. At another point he takes a decidedly limited view on a topic (one I am quite informed about) and presents only one side of the issue. Identifying these problems in the text forced me to question the validity of the rest of the material presented.

Good read as it generally was, I came away from the book unsatisfied.

Book Review: A great book for independent thinkers worldwide!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

This book leads to the ultimate conclusion that mankind has and can be easily manipulated through a small elite of intellectuals. The various religious books point out that if the "Gods" are not obeyed mankind will suffer the consequences of the wrath of the "Gods" who usually employ secret societies that control the world to do their bidding. These religious books do have spirituallity but ultimately promote totalitarianism under the guise of "The kingdom of Heaven" where everybody obeys and doesn't question authority. You don't have to believe the book, but it's worth researching and thinking about. Pick it up you, wouldn't be dissappointed!

Book Review: A must have!
Summary: 5 Stars

I read half this book in 1990, then I had to return it. I learned later that the original print was taken off the shelves, I guess some people got scared? I think this one is close to the original, it is amazing when you can find works dealing with the bible and the aliens. A must have for anyone believing in the supernatural, and who owns any book by the writers of Left Behind.

Book Review: Adequate for leisure reading, not to be taken seriously
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought this book thinking it would present to me a startling revelation about the 'true' history of mankind, but to my utter dismay, this piece offered nothing of the sort. Bramley brings up an abundance of evidence from centuries ago (ancient civilization and pre-modern times), and proceeds to analyze it with his wacky mind. He twists the major events in history to suit his own theory. For example, during the Black Plague, colored mists were seen shortly before many outbreaks, recorded in the firsthand accounts of people from the past. So he concludes that the mist is the result of alien germ warfare. Also, the book contains no direct link between the eras he discusses and the alien race. He just goes on from the starting point set forth by his introduction chapters and rambles on from there, proposing that the Brotherhood caused this, the Brotherhood did that, but where is the evidence? Using the words of Yoda, may I inform you fellow human readers that: 'A major disappointment this book is.'
