Book Reviews of The Gods of EdenBook Review: Alas, a refreshing perspective! Summary: 5 Stars
I had read this book awhile ago but I am due for another reading. What an interesting perspective and delightful compilation through the years of our history. After reading some of the reviews I think it may be important to point out the main purpose that this book was probably written. It is not to sway or impress upon humankind about Mr. Bramley's findings but it exists for us to keep an open mind and not to believe everything we see or hear and yes, even read. There are many perspectives and Mr. Bramley presents us with another angle of the prism. Keep an open thought in everything that you see or read, believe everything but do not accept nothing as Truth until you have successfully proven it to yourself.
Book Review: An unbalanced book. Summary: 3 Stars
The beginning and end of this book are alright, however, the middle and last chapters are crap. Bramley's hypothesis on the nature of a "Supreme Being" are pretty stupid, to say the least. And isn't it funny how he uses one story from the Bible to discredit another story from the Bible? Who's to judge which source of information is accurate anyway? But that doesn't stop Bramley from using anything he sees fit, just as long as it fits into his giant jigsaw puzzle of alien stewardship. Lastly, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that absolute power corrupts absolutely. The idea that "elite" groups of people are pawns to some alien force is pretty dumb when you consider that there's been probably millions of wars/battles on this planet since the dawn of time. Now, are you gonna tell me that aliens are behind all of this? It can't be because people are greedy or defending themselves from invaders, but it has to be that aliens are behind everything. Personally I have to agree with Carl Sagan on this one... the issue of religion I mean. UFO's, now that's a different story.
Book Review: Another Fortean follower Summary: 4 Stars
The Gods of Eden says nothing new and does so at an alarmingly dull pace.I gave it 4 stars for the amount of research and the subject matter.IF you are a believer-you do not need to read this book-but buy it anyway as the Author put so much effort into the writing.
Premise is SAME as Sitchkin's-aliens genetically altered cro magnon man and created a new species.Adamu-Human-to do the grunt work. The author is dead on when he calls them a custodial race rather than gods as they were/are incredibly cruel .
Charles forte did the same research as did 100's before him-conclusion -we are a hybrid race built for slave labor and for the entertainment of these beings. These beings are cruel and care not a whit about humans.
This line of thought goes back centuries , perhaps longer. The Church is /was n league with these beings and often killed free thinkers. Thus a veil of secrecy was formed. There is no loving one GOD-just these ''alien Beings''-not well written as he has to be repetitive and give the same details again and again .
Humans are nothing but so much chattel ,always have been, always will be ...
The bible is just a retelling of the epic of Gilgamesh and has been modified through the centuries as humans have become more skeptical as our knowledge has increased .
I thank and salute the author for his relentless research and for his daring to take on traditional beliefs .
Book Review: Believable Summary: 4 Stars
This book tells how humans are being kept in control of, unknowingly by religion, war, and ignorance sincce the begining of human history , by an unknown source. Known if you believe the author's theory. This theory is very possible.
Book Review: Break Your Chains! Summary: 5 Stars
This book deals with a controversial topic, alternative human history, or rather the dark side of human history occulted from the average person's world view. This is arguably one of the most fascinating fields of study, rivalled only by parapsychology. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to find reliable sources on this subject, as many of them are based on "channelled" information or baseless conjecture. In "The Gods of Eden", William Bramley backs up all of his arguments with reliable sources. Furthermore, his research is not tainted by personal attachment to any particular belief system. He does an excellent job of bringing many neglected and obscured topics to light, some of which will permanently change the way you view the world, its governments, and especially religion.William Bramley is a historian in his own right. His work essentially follows a certain mystery cult throughout history, from ancient times to present day, identifying its branches through their common symbols. He further explains the power that this group holds and its enormous influence throughout history on society and religion. He also theorizes for a short while on the nature of God and human souls. I found this section of the book lacking, as it was based on mere opinion, but still interesting and relevant for the most part. I did, however, enjoy the information on the much neglected topic of paper money and national debt. I was also pleased to find chapters on pharmacological deception, the UFO-cult connection, and the Black Death. "The Gods of Eden" is a very solid primer on alternative human history, which will open up many doors of further research for the inclined reader. It also has the potential of liberating the average intelligent and open minded individual from the relentless clutches of our deceptively common paradigm.
