Book Review: Finally, a Tarot for those of us who stare into the void!

This Tarot is beautiful, easy to use if you are familiar with the Rider-Waite Tarot, and definitely not for the faint of heart. If you are looking for a "happy" answer, this deck is not for you. If you love to court your darker nature and desire to understand it, then jump in and enjoy.
The art work is incredible, the images profound yet simple. The card stock is thick enough to be able to withstand numerous uses but not so thick shuffling is a problem. I recommend this to anyone who has a desire to work with their own darker natures.

First I would like to say that I am not a fan of all the wimpy tarot decks out there. You've got your choice of many different types of tarots, from fairies, to dragons, to angles, to even LOR. But they all kind of look wimpy. I mean dragons are supposed to be cool not cartoonish. So if you are like me, and can appreciate fine artwork on your tarot, then the GOTHIC TAROT is for you. I found the instructions easy to understand, the artwork INCREDIBLE, and the basic feel of the deck feels good in the hand. This is the best tarot deck concerning vampires and gothic art I have come across to date. The artwork is beautiful and ties in with the meaning of the cards well. I have purchased two copies of the deck, one for regular use and one to put away in case the deck becomes hard to find in the future. I would recommend buying the companion book with the deck. It really adds a lot to the deck with the explanations of the artwork selected. I have had many other tarot readers ask me where I got this deck because the artwork is so beautiful.Book Review: Not my kind of deck

Honestly I didn't care for this deck for a lot of reasons. First the imagary felt flat and didn't make a whole lot of sense. I'm sorry to say this because it had a lot of potential too bad it failed to deliver.
