Book Review: A life changer

The book took me a while to read as it is in smaller print than normal but I persevered and I am so pleased I did. My husband is on Lipitor and we have worried about the long term effects and also always questioned the new age diet advice, having been raised on meat, eggs, whole milk etc. My Mother used to eat a pot of clotted cream every week and she lived to a good age and never had heart problems or high blood pressure and I don't think she ever had her cholesterol checked!
I would advise any reader to read ALL of the book not just parts that seem of interest to the individual as you might miss some very important facts. It is very disconcerting to read of how we have been duped for years in order to line the pockets of the drug companies among others and, although it is very scary to go against what we are told is the right way to eat, after reading about the conclusions of the many different studies, it all makes perfect sense. We will not buy into this con anymore.
Anthony Colpo has certainly done his homework and for no fee. He covers so much more than just cholesterol; good nutrition, vitamins we should take and why and some things I had never even heard of but am now glad to be aware. We have changed back to a NORMAL eating plan.
If there is only one book you read this year, make it this one, you won't be sorry. And spread the word.
