This is an example of good things coming in small packages. This 64 page handbook is a fantastic guide to using the heavy bag. This book covers everything you need to become proficient in using the heavy bag. It begins with general guidelines and safety and moves to how to properly set up a heavy bag. It begins where all heavy bag training should begin, that being how to use handwraps to protect your hands when striking the bag. This manual shows how to properly hit the bag with your hands and feet. The text shows the proper stance, how to move the bag, warm up exercises, how to perform basic punches and kicks and how to combine various combinations. In conclusion, whether you are into boxing, kickboxing, karate or mixed martial arts, this book will be of great value in your training. Rating: 4 stars. Joseph J.
