Book Review: Nothing fancy but still worth reading...
Summary: 3 Stars
The book served primarily to reinforce "world views," which each one of us has, and share normality much like I imagine a group therapy session. The tips are very straightforward and really not worth reading. We bought this book for intimacy in our private life rather than for sex. It's separation into three subchapters makes sense and you do not have to read the book as there are 365 mini-tips throughout the chapters, which you can each read individually and in any random order.
I'd recommend this book with some hesitation because it did not do exactly what we wanted from it. Things that seemed weird to me, e.g. enjoying that my significant other hug me as a man instead of me, as the man, always taking matters into my own hands, are now more natural as the book noted that men need to be hugged to reinforce their bond etc etc. It was nothing really new and that's what it felt like to me, always, but it was nice to read that this was a common preference among men. It "normalized" what at times felt like a weakness.
