I have read all of Lee Childs books but this one has been very disappointing The story line has been done before,and there is to much detail towards the end of the book with regard to sights and places in England.The character Jack Reacher seems to have gone a bit soft compared to his early adventuresBook Review: Lee Child has done it again!

The first book of Child's that I read was The Persuader which I didn't really enjoy and so to pick up another of his books seems insane. It was the reviews from faithful Lee Child readers that made me change my mind and I am really pleased that I did. I enjoyed this book enormously and look forward to the next of Jack Reacher's adventures. Book Review: Reacher comes to the UK

I love Reacher & I love tales set in New York. This latest book in the excellent series is set in NYC & (a first) England. As always it is fast paced, tightly plotted & ,yes, violent.
This is not the very best of Reacher - but it is good. My one criticism of this book is that the major plot twist, on which the story turns, was not really that much of a surprise. I'd seen it coming from a fair way out - & I can seldom boast that.
All in all if you're a fan of Lee Child you must get this one. If you're not already converted start at the beginning, with Killing Floor. But do catch the series as it's truly a must for all crime fans.
