Book Reviews of The Heroin Diaries: A Year in the Life of a Shattered Rock StarBook Review: Must read!!! Summary: 5 StarsI must say that this book was hard to put down. This book was so good that I finished it in 3 days. I liked the wasy Sixx put the book together. He had his diary entries and then had those involved elaborate afterwards....it was a great idea. There was some pretty wicked pictures in the book too!!
Book Review: Great Book Summary: 5 Stars Like many others who read this book (I think), I read and enjoyed the Dirt very much. But first I have to say that I'm a bass player who is a Crue fan, so maybe I am bias.
This book reveals the life of Nikki's worst year (which ironically was also his most musically successful time) during which he literally killed himself with Heroin. This book told many things that I never know before. It is different from the Dirt that it's so depressive I can't stop reading it.
PS: This one and the Dirt get 5 stars from me but Tommyland is kinda lame really(The Dirt told Tommy's story better that Tommyland did for me).
Book Review: Nikki Summary: 5 StarsI thiank you so much. Fast delivery. What was said in Amazon was very true. I would buy from you again. You are great. A+++++++++++++++++++++++
Book Review: Drugs, Sex, and Rock 'N' Roll Summary: 5 StarsThis is the story of a man who was at the height of his career while hitting rock bottom and it's so haunting because it's all true. It's not a cookie cutter vision of being a junkie. It's rawr and naked. It doesn't matter whether you don't like Motley Crue or even know who the hell Nikki Sixx is. It will keep you wanting to read more and more. Sixx did NOT release his diary to make a quick buck, but to stop others from going down the same path as he did. If it only helped one person, it still would've made a difference.
Book Review: Great Book, couldn't put it down! Summary: 5 StarsIf you love Motley Crue and followed them all these years this book will intrigue you. Also, if you have every known or know some who is an addicit it gives some insight into their mentality. They always have some rational excuse as to why they can't stop or put the blame on others. Nikki Sixx is one lucky person to come back from the dead as many times as he did others aren't so lucky and to over come such and addiction I give him credit for owning up to his feelings and taking control of his life.
