Book Review: Excellent Summary: 5 StarsThe 1611 edition King James Bible I ordered and received was excellent. It was everything and more the seller advertised. My husband was beside himself when he opened this for this birthday. Everybody at his party wants one.
Book Review: Every home should have one. Summary: 5 StarsI am very pleased with thhe product, as this is my second one. Both purchases were gifts to my husband and god-son. This gives a sure path to the modern rendition of this Bible.
Book Review: Review of King James Bible Summary: 5 StarsExcellent product and reproduced in such a way as to make comprehension very easy. Highly recommend it.
Book Review: Very Useful Facsimile Summary: 5 StarsI have this facsimile reproduction, and find it highly readable and very useful. The binding is outstanding and should hold up to years of use. I was disappointed to find that the text had been reset in Roman type, however. I have a PDF file of an original 1611 edition set in Black (Gothic) type. It, however, is not always readable in all places, as the copy it was made from had seen a lot of wear over the centuries. Does anyone know of an AFFORDABLE facsimile in Black Type? I know of some very expensive ones, but none in my price range, unfortunately.
Taken as a whole, however, this is a beautiful volume.
