Book Review: Enjoyable and thrilling ride with "The Husband"

Dean Koontz has also been able to create some terrific characters and great plots - but not always in the same book. That's certainly not an issue with "The Husband". Koontz has done a great job melding both factors together into a memorable reading experience.
Without going into a plot re-hash (which has already been done hundreds of times in this forum) let me suffice to say that the book zooms away from its literary launch pad from page 1 and continues right through the last word. Koontz does a wonderful job putting an "ordinary Joe" in a compromising situation that changes him forever. It will be easy for most readers to relate to the situation and compare how they would act when faced with the same scenario. Some very unexpected plot twists crank up the interest level in the novel and the end is a satisfying one.
If you're a Koontz fan, you will definitely want to grab a copy of "The Husband"!
Book Review: Entertained, but not mesmerized....

A first time read of this author for me and I admit that I am not a fan of mysteries. Without spoiling the book, the "very end" is three years after the end of the plot. For me there was not adequate explanation of the events between those two stages. Perhaps I am just a person who requires all the i's dotted and t's crossed. All in all, as a reader I felt cheated at the end.Book Review: Entertaining

Well, this is actually not the type of book that I would read. But I took my time to read this and I finished reading it within 24 hours.So I guess, this is one of the book that you can't put it down once you read it.it was quite entertaning ..Go for it if you are Koontz fans. This was one of the best books I have ever read. Whether you like Koontz or not, you should LOVE this book. I hadn't read that many of his books (but have since) and I don't think I could recomend a better book. If you love to read exciting, heart-pounding books... then pick this one up. There is no boogey-man in this, its just a man trying to get his wife back from a kidnapper. But the twists and turns are unbelievable!Book Review: Excellent
