One of our favorite books. Purchased this as a Christmas gift. Thanks so much!

Book Review: The Great Goodbye Book
Summary: 5 Stars

I teach preschool and have read this book to my class for years. It seems to calm children's hearts as well as Mommy's hearts. At the end of the story the parents give their children a kiss as do the children kiss their parents. It is a perfect transistion into class time.

Book Review: The Kissing Hand
Summary: 5 Stars

I have read this book many times since it was first published. Some say it helps during the separation-anxiety phase for preschoolers or kindergarteners, but I say, keep this book, and have multiple copies at home. It is one of the best gifts to send off your young ones to college. In this book, Chester Racoon was apprehensive and anxious for his first `night' of school. His mom, Mrs. Racoon, comforted him by sharing a secret of `kissing hand' and ensured Chester that the kissing hand was his mother's love that would go with him wherever he went. I am very touched by Audrey Penn's highly inspiring and encouraging words that apply to all of us, young or old, ... "Sometimes we all have to do things we don't want to do, ...even if they seem strange and scary at first..." Don't we all face the same situation from time to time? Ruth Harper and Nancy Leak put together perfect match illustrations of a tranquil and serene nature with adorable creatures running around from sunrise to sunset. This book is not only a must-have, but also a must-keep and must-give book that is timeless to many generations to come.

Book Review: The Kissing Hand

Excellent book! My kids, 6 and 4, both love to read this before bed. And the stickers that came with the book were a big hit. My oldest has had some separation anxiety and the kissing hand has helped him realize that we are always with him.

Book Review: The Kissing Hand
Summary: 5 Stars

I really liked this book because it was a nice story. The best part was when Chesters mom gave him the kissing hand so he wouldn't be sad or lonely at school. I also liked when he gave one to his mom so she would have a kissing hand while he was gone.
